WEST
COAST CUCINA
Winter 2011
Marilyn Gardunio, CKD, of J.B. Turner & Sons
had formed a two-year relationship with these homeowners
over the course of an extensive design and remodel of their Alamo,
California, home. So when the family purchased a vacation home in
Coronado, they again turned to the trusted design team at J.B. Turner & Sons
to transform the 1970s Tudor-style house into a comfortable coastal-style
home.
Taking
into consideration how the family would use the space as well as the
surrounding waterscape, Gardunio. ...

ROOMS
WITH A VIEW
September / October 2008
This home in Alamo, California, has

between the eating area/conservatory and family room. Marilyn
C. Gardunio, CKD, and the design team at J.B. Turner & Sons
solved this problem by installing multiple Sub-Zero refrigerator
drawers in lieu of a conventional refrigerator, removing
much of the upper cabinetry and enlarging the opening the
kitchen and family room. ...

ROAMING
ROOM
July
/ August 2006
There's room to roam in Scott Willis and Charmaine
Clay's kitchen....This was their second project with Marilyn Gardunio
of J.B. Turner & Sons, and together they chose extra-tall Cherry
cabinetry, café green granite countertops and a backsplash
of Giallo Atlantico tumbled stones. For the floor they chose a textured
ceramic tile in a Maui honey color. Beneath the floors, radiant head
keeps little toes toasty. ... |

DELIGHTFUL
DESIGN
Winter
2006
"It is a relationship of teamwork from
many talents and years of experience that guides the newest team
member — our client, to realize their dreams," says Marilyn
Gardunio of J.B. Turner & Sons. At the beginning of the design
process, Gardunio spends significant time with her clients asking
practical questions and discovering their needs for the space. She
says "I want to give them a kitchen that will enhance how they
live and function as a family". ... |
